DESCRIPTION

These tape sculptures were made for a 3D design class I took in the spring of 2021. The assignment was to create two human bodies from the previously listed materials that interact with their environment. The first body had to be as anatomically accurate as possible and was posed as if it was being shoved into an oven. The second body had to be distorted in response to its environment, so I chose to wrap it around my refrigerator. All of the body's joints correspond with existing geometry on the refrigerator.  I later discovered that I could remove the second body from the refrigerator and it could still support itself. I eventually had to throw them away during a move, so I took some photos of the second body looking surreal by the dumpster.
