GRIFFIN O'CONNOR

My name is Griffin, and I'm a prop maker and custom fabricator currently completing my MFA in Animatronics at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a projected graduation of May 2026.

I graduated from Cal State University Fullerton with a BA in Design & Technical Production with an emphasis in Prop Making. During my time there I both designed and worked on several stage shows, as well as contributing props to various student films. I also worked in the on-campus prop shop for 3 years.

At UNCSA I have been lucky to work on a variety projects, each with their own set of unique challenges. I've developed my design, fabrication, and leadership abilities in the unique environment of the animatronics program.

I am passionate about creating objects that tell stories, and I am constantly working to expand my skill set. I am fast-learning, adaptable, and eager to solve new challenges.
