GRIFFIN O'CONNOR

My name is Griffin, and I'm an LA-based custom fabricator specializing in props, effects, and animatronics for both the film and themed entertainment industries.

In 2021 I graduated from CSUF with a BA in Design & Technical Production with an emphasis in Prop Making. During my time there I both designed and worked on several stage shows, as well as contributing props to various student films. I also worked in the on-campus prop shop for 3 years.

 

I​​n 2026 I graduated from UNCSA with my MFA in Animatronics. At UNCSA I was lucky to work on a variety of  projects, each with their own set of unique challenges. I've developed my design, fabrication, and leadership abilities in the unique environment of the animatronics program.

I am passionate about telling stories in all their forms, but especially through objects, experiences, and characters. I am always eager to learn new skills and techniques, and I am quick to integrate them into my current workflow.  I am fast-learning, adaptable, and eager to solve new challenges.
